Jonathan Lunn
 

Self Assembly is a new dance duet choreographed by Jonathan Lunn with original text written and narrated by Anthony Minghella. Self Assembly was commissioned by The Place and created for The Place Prize 2006.

Jonathan's work includes Modern Living (Time Out Dance Award) and the National Theatre's Pericles (Olivier Nomination).

" One of my first pieces of choreography, Hang Up, was created to a short play written for me by Anthony, and we have been hoping to find ways to work together again for some time. Language has always been a starting point for me in making work. My aim is always to create a world where the physical language corresponds to the way the spoken word can be used to communicate, misunderstand, clarify, mislead, express our inner thoughts and random ideas, our love or loathing of each other."
