Amici Dance Theatre Company

Join Amici for a week of unique evening events hosted and run by Wolfgang Stange, giving you the opportunity to observe and take part in open-workshops and live demonstrations of their methods and practises, with guest appearances by other companies that Amici have worked with.

The Lyric's resident dance company, Amici, integrate able-bodied and disabled artists and performers. Founded by Wolfgang Stange in 1980, Amici have had a major impact worldwide challenging conventional attitudes about disability and the arts.

Tue 9 June / Behind the Scenes with Amici A special preview showing of extracts from The Magic of Amici, a new DVD and resource pack of Amici’s groundbreaking and original working methods.
