SCOPE Movement & Dance 2008

A workshop and performance project for disabled people in The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea run by SCOPE in association with Turtle Key Arts & Amici Dance Theatre Company.

Following on from the success of last year's project Scope are again offering the opportunity to disabled people within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea to take part in dance & movement workshops free of charge.

The participants met once a week for 21 weeks and created a performance using dance, drama, movement and music. Amici's Artistic Director Wolfgang Stange once again lead the workshop sessions with fully qualified assistants from Amici. The aim of this project is to build upon the interests of the participants, extending and developing existing skills, whilst developing new movement, performance, personal and social skills in a supportive and integrated environment.
