TURTLE KEY ARTS PRODUCED LISA TORUN FROM 2000 TO 2005, CREATING INNOVATIVE CONTEMPORARY DANCE WITH AN INTERNATIONAL PROFILE.

Lisa Torun, artistic director of Lisa Torun Dance Company is a choreographer, dancer, teacher and singer, born in Sweden, where she trained in ballet and contemporary dance and also studied as an opera singer, violinist and pianist. She has produced a catalogue of innovative work across disciplines, with a particular focus on the involvement of music. Produced by Turtle Key Arts she toured Europe and produced a repertoire of shows including See Saw, Triptych and Synchrona and collaborated with Yinka Shonibare for The Turner Prize 2004, Shobana Jeyasingh and Laban students to produce highly skilful and imaginative work.
