"THIS IS EXCELLENT WRITING, THERE'S POETRY IN THE LINES." - Leeds List
Their name comes from the legendary 1850s clipper ship, The Flying Cloud, famous for its speed and having a female navigator, Eleanor Creesy.
Established in 2010 by Leandra Ashton, Flying Cloud is now a successful collective of international artists produced by Turtle Key Arts. Leandra has been joined at the helm by Jennifer Kidd and Marta Isabella Rizi and together they are navigating Flying Cloud to new horizons.
Flying Cloud premiered their debut show Napoli at The West Yorkshire Play House in 2012, followed by a tour of the North of England. Their second play The Book premiered at York Theatre Royal and toured in the summer of 2014.
Flying Cloud's business training offers innovative methods for professionals and organisations looking to challenge and empower themselves. Their business workshops are run by Leandra Ashton and Jennifer Kidd, both RADA trained actor-facilitators experienced in leading training sessions across a wide range of sectors.
